Betsafe Poker review

Why choose Betsafe?

Betsafe joined the iPoker network in 2020 and its poker offering has grown substantially since. The welcome structure is mission-based: complete poker missions to earn rewards, and claim an exclusive €100 freeroll ticket after your first real-money hand. Underneath that sits the standard iPoker loyalty programme paying up to 30% rakeback.

Betsafe is part of the Betsson group, so the operator is well established, licensed and financially solid.

Games

No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha cash games run up to $5/$10, with the alternative variants available at lower stakes. The MTT schedule is well structured, with softer player fields than you will find at the biggest networks, and daily freerolls are a nice touch for new players.

Twisters are the popular spin-based jackpot format and have their own dedicated leaderboard.

Promotions

Beyond the missions, a deposit bonus of up to 100% to $2,000 is available with a 60-day playthrough. The Cash Climber promotion gives daily chances to earn prizes through cash game and Twister play.

Software

The client is customisable and runs in the browser as well as via download, which makes mobile play simple. HUDs like PokerTracker 4 are supported. We have experienced occasional stability hiccups during peak hours, which is the main thing holding the rating back.

Deposits and withdrawals

Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard and Trustly are accepted.

Restricted countries

Betsafe blocks players from more than 60 countries, including the UK, US, Australia, France, Spain and China.

Verdict

A very solid iPoker room with a creative welcome structure and a soft tournament schedule. If you like missions and freerolls, Betsafe is the pick. If you want a straightforward match bonus, Guts edges it.
