Inside the client

Why play at ChampionPoker?
ChampionPoker is our highest-rated room, and the reason is value. There is no flashy welcome bonus. Instead the room pays up to 30% rakeback through its loyalty programme and runs two of the most generous rake races on the iPoker network: a site-wide monthly race with a €10,000 first prize and a weekly Twister race paying €12,500.
Because it runs on iPoker, the traffic problem that sinks independent rooms simply does not exist. Cash games, tournaments, Speed poker and Twisters are available around the clock, and a large share of the players arrive from the casino side of the site rather than from poker forums. That keeps the games soft.
Games
The lobby covers No Limit, Pot Limit and Fixed Limit Hold'em, several Omaha variants, 5-Card Stud, 7-Card Stud Hi/Lo, 6+ Hold'em and Razz. In practice the action is in No Limit Hold'em, 6+ Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha, with Speed poker variants running from €0.02/€0.05 up to €0.50/€1.
Tournaments
The MTT schedule runs 24/7 with buy-ins from €0.20 to €150, including knockout formats. Guarantees grow on Sundays. Fields are mid-sized, which is good news for variance.
Sit & Gos and Twisters
Standard SNGs run 6-max and 9-max from €0.10 to €50. Twisters are the three-handed jackpot SNGs that iPoker is known for, with random prize pools up to 1,000 times the buy-in and their own weekly leaderboard.
Promotions and rakeback
Rakeback starts at 10% and rises to 30% as you move through the loyalty tiers. Volume is the only requirement.
On top of that sit the two rake races. The monthly race pays tens of thousands of euros across the leaderboard, with €10,000 to the winner. The Twister race pays €12,500 every week. Both are detailed on our rake chase page.
Software
The iPoker client is colourful, stable and easy to use. Table themes and deck styles are customisable, and both a download client and a browser version are available. Multi-tabling is straightforward.
HUDs work with limits. Cash tables use anonymous seat names, so tracking software records statistics per seat rather than per player. Over a session it still helps; across sessions it does not.
Deposits and withdrawals
This is the room's main restriction: deposits are currently crypto only, by Bitcoin or Tether (USDT), with a €10 minimum. If you are comfortable with crypto the cashier is fast. If you are not, Guts or Betsson offer the same network with card and e-wallet options.
Restricted countries
The list is long and includes Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, France, Italy, Spain, Turkey, the UK and the US, among others. Check before you register.
Mobile
There is no native app. The browser client runs on modern phones and tablets and supports multi-tabling.
Verdict
If you can deposit in crypto and you play regular volume, ChampionPoker is the most lucrative room on our list. The combination of 30% rakeback, a €10,000 monthly race and a soft casino-fed player pool is hard to beat. Players who want a traditional deposit bonus and card payments should look at Guts instead.
